title-Burberry brand story

1856，Tomas Burberry opened an outdoor clothes shop in Basingstoke, Hampshire when he is 21 years old.As he managed well,the business became more and more thriving. Burberry has become a well-known outdoor clothes store in 1870,even some famous athletes also patronize it frequently.

   Tomas·Burberry,who was an apprentice of a cloth wholesaler at one time,was rather intelligence.He used a new weave way to invent  drills which is waterproof,freely-breathe and   wear-resistant in 1880 and gained the patent in 1888.In 1891,Burberry opened the first shop in the capital of England,in Haymarket,London.The place now is still the headquarters of Burberry company.

In the end of 19 centuries,Burberry designed a kind of dust coat called "Tielocken"for military officer.It's also the rudiment of famous Burberry nowadays.Burberry was commissioned by England military formaly to design new forms for England military officer in 1901.At this moment,the famous Burberry "Horseback Knight"marking came out,Burberry company  registered it to be their own brand .In the first decade of 20 centuries,Burberry started to expand their own market and  strided out from England, striked up franchised store in Paris and New York.

The world happened a tremendous event,therefore the "Burberry" began to be famous.In this year,Norway explorer,captain Roald Amundsen lead a 5-person squad successfully became the earliest person who arrive the South Pole in the world .And his equipment happened to be the Bueberry's outdoor cloth.

During World War I,Burberry continued to design military uniform for England military.In 1924,Burberry registered its another  famous symbol: grid pattern.This grid pattern which is made up of four clors: red,white,black,and light brown .It was used in the liner of dust coat at the time.But afterward it almostly become the synonym with Burberry.Burberry also participated in the design of pilot cloth.

In 1955,Burberry acquired the "Royal Warrant" badge which was  awarded by Queen Elizabeth.Later in 1989,Burberry started to  dispend its grid pattern into umbrella,bags and neckcloth,increasingly showed the character of Burberry products.

The flagship shop of Burberry debuted in the 57 east street,New York in 1970.And in 1980,Burberry broadened its retail business in America continuously .Besides New York,there are many multiple shops San Francisco , Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia and Washington.Rose Mary Bravo occupied the CEO of Burberry company in 1997.The new manage team brought a new visage for Burberry.The new design,new product serial and the exceptional advertisement publicity made the old brand Burberry attain a new lease of  life .

In 1999,Bravo invited the most famous manikin of England --Kate Mose --to shoot a set of advertisement and posters.In a poster which is still a classic nowadays,Kate Mose wore a grid wedding dress and performed a "England Grid Wedding" with a groom who wore a grid swallow-tailed coat.All the guests wore the Burberry grid cloth,all the appliances in the wedding were decorated with Burberry grid. These posters were widely praised everywhere.It not only made Burberry be a pop fashion brand once again,but also won the favor of every ages.

As the new century comes,Burberry has already become a symbol of life quality because of its enduring fashion.Both in 2000 and 2001,Burberry obtained the classical and modern award of  England fashion dress  council .Enter the 21 centuries,Burberry has quickened its outspread step all over the world.2000.9,its global flagship shop opened at the New Bond Street ,London.2001.10,Burberry launched the flagship shop in the Mount  Beverly in London,which converge lots of Hollywood superstar.Then,Buberry built more exceptional  franchised stores in Germany, Spain, Italy, Russia and Japan.

Today,the classical Burberry grid pattern,special cloth function and openhanded and refined clipping has become the indication  of England style.
