The Air Jordan 5 was released in February 1990 and once again featured innovative and creative designs and features.Four models was released to the public.Two models which are the Black/Black-Metallic Silver and White/Fire Red-Black had MJs number 鈥23鈥 on the side.Retro+ models were also produced. One of them featured Michaels high school colors (Laney High School).The Air Jordan 5 is set to retro again in 2006,its tongue & buckle are reflective, and is the first Air Jordan shoes that uses semi-pellucid bradyseism in outsole, which strengthen its stability & soundness.The Air Jordan V was inspired by the WW2 Mustang fighter plane. The most obvious element of the inspiration is the shark teeth shapes on the midsole of the shoe.
